Armand Gustav Duplantis, nicknamed Mondo Duplantis, is best known as the world record holder in pole vaulting, but he has also branched out into music under the pseudonym Mondo. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on November 10, 1999, the athlete holds dual American and Swedish nationality. A two-time Olympic champion and three-time world pole-vault champion, he launched his musical career in 2025 with his first single "Bop", a catchy, tropical-influenced pop track that reached No. 31 in the Swedish Sverigetopplistan charts. He continued in the same vein with "4L" and "Mans? followed by "Feelin' Myself", which reached No. 43 in the Swedish charts in February 2026.
