Love Motel, a Swiss electronic rock group, was founded in 1996 by Jean-Pierre Kazemi in Geneva. The project began when Kazemi traveled to New York to collaborate with various artists and released a three-track CD in 1997. Their debut album, Après le paradis, was released in 2003 under the Parisian label Intoxygène, blending electro and house music with rock elements. In 2007, Love Motel signed with Poor Records and released their second album, Mind the Void, which was distributed across Europe and the United States. Notable performances include appearances at festivals such as Eurockéennes de Belfort and Montreux Jazz Festival. Their third album, We Are You, was released in 2011, featuring themes of surveillance and technological control.
