Kid Chocolat, born Philippe Pellaud on March 26, 1974, is a Swiss electronic musician and producer. His work explored themes of horror, suspense, and the absurd, making him a distinctive voice in the electronic music scene. Kid Chocolat's debut EP, Who's Afraid of Dario Argento?, was released in 2001. In 2005, he released the album Zombiparti!, inspired by horror cinema, particularly the works of George A. Romero. Following this, he released Super8 in 2008, the soundtrack to Pascal Greco's film of the same name. Throughout his career, Kid Chocolat has collaborated with notable figures such as Asia Argento and illustrator Luz.
