VC Barre is a Swedish rapper known for his link-ups with fellow rapper Adaam, co-founding the record label and hip-hop crew Grind Gang Music also with D50. Born Baran Çelik on September 29, 2003, in the suburbs of Metropolitan Stockholm, he began flexing his lyrical skills in 2020 on the "Nuförtiden" track with Adaam before going to number 37 on the Swedish singles chart with his own "Fläta" / "Inte mitt krig" later that year. He upped his game in 2021 with a successful run of top ten singles, from the gold-certified "Vvvalsta" and "Topp" with Adaam to "Fast här i trakten" with Einár and Trobi. With a sturdy set of hits under his belt, his career continued to move forward in leaps and bounds, with 2022 marked out by a string of talked-about singles that included "Internet" with 23 and "Sooys." His debut album Young & Strapped also surfaced later on that year, going to number 42 in Sweden and spawning the single "Säg till dom."
