Géraldine Laurent

An alto saxophonist born in 1975, Géraldine Laurent surprised many with her first album, Time Out Trio, released in 2007, which won her a Victoire du jazz award and the Prix Django Reinhardt. She confirmed this in 2010 with Around Gigi, a tribute to the elder Gigi Gryce with her own compositions, recorded with Pierre de Bethmann, Yoni Zelnik and Franck Agulhon. It also won an award from the Académie du Jazz. Five years later, the EP At Play is released, followed by the album At Work, in which .
