Barbara Morgenstern, born March 19, 1971, in Hagen, West Germany, is a singer and electronic musician. She started her musical journey with piano lessons as a child and later took jazz lessons at the school of music in Hagen. After completing her schooling, she decided to pursue a career in music in 1991. From 1992 to 1994, Morgenstern lived in Hamburg, performing as a musician and singer in an a cappella group. She moved to Berlin in 1994, focusing on her own electronic music from 1996 onwards. Her debut album Vermona ET 6–1 (1998) was released, followed later by Nichts Muss (2003). In 2008, she released the less electronic but more orchestral album BM, which included the track “Come To Berlin”. Morgenstern's collaborations include a world tour with Maximilian Hecker in 2004 and contributions to Bill Wells' mini-album Pick Up Sticks.
