Akın Eldes (born November 11, 1962) was a Turkish rock, blues, and jazz guitarist, composer, and producer from Frankfurt, Germany. Eldes studied mandolin and flute as a child before beginning his guitar career during high school. He performed with the ensembles E-5, Painted Bird, and Çapkınlar before joining the rock group Bulutsuzluk Özlemi from 1986 to 2000. Eldes contributed to recordings by artists including Bülent Ortaçgil, Barış Manço, and Melih Kibar, and he dedicated his song “Madımak” to victims of the Sivas massacre. In 2006, Eldes joined the band Pinhani, where he utilized instruments such as the cümbüş, banjo, and dobro. His solo discography included the albums Kafi (2002), Türlü (2004), Cango (2007), Ara Taksim (2009), Başka Türlü (2010), and Hane-i Akustik (2011). He followed these with the solo recordings Tek Başına (2018) and Denemeler (2021).
