Klaus-Stephan Trepte, known professionally as Stephan Trepte, was born on July 20, 1950, in Biehla, Germany. He began his music career in the mid-1960s, playing keyboard and singing with amateur bands Quintanas and Stereo-Club. In 1972, Trepte joined electra, gaining national recognition with the prog-rock title "Tritt ein in den Dom". He left electra in 1974 to join Lift, releasing notable tracks like "Soldat vom Don" and "Atlantis". In 1976, he briefly joined Neon before moving to Reform in 1977. With Reform, he released three albums: Reform (1979), Löwenzahn (1982), and Uhren ohne Zeiger (1985). After Reform disbanded in 1986, Trepte continued performing in various projects until his final concert in 2015. He also acted in productions like The Rocky Horror Show. Trepte passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 70 in Panketal.
