Britt-Synnøve Johansen is a Norwegian singer and actress born in Norway in 1970. Johansen performed in a choir for seven years before winning the Melodi Grand Prix (1989) with the song “Venners nærhet” (1989). They represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest and reached number 17. Their recordings include the debut album God morgen (1990) and the Edith Piaf-inspired album Mot himmelen i Paris – Piaf på norsk (2002). Johansen appeared in musicals including Les Misérables (2003) and Oliver (2009). Their discography includes the tango album Skyt meg med tre roser (2010) and the recording På reis, på reis (2017). In 2015, they received a nomination for the Spellemannprisen in the Children's Music category.
