Vincent Lauzer, a Canadian flutist born in 1988, began playing the recorder at age five. In 1996, he appeared on Faites vos gammes, an early breakthrough. He earned his master's degree from McGill University under Matthias Maute and released his debut solo album, Passaggi (2013). Lauzer is part of ensembles such as Flûte Alors! and Les Songes, contributing to albums including Kaléidoscope (2011) and Bach’n’Jazz (2017). He has performed with groups including Arion and La Bande Montréal Baroque. Notable achievements include winning the Tremplin - Concours de musique du Canada in 2012, being named Révélation Radio-Canada for 2013-2014, and receiving the Bourse de carrière Fernand-Lindsay in 2015. He is the artistic director of the Festival international de musique baroque de Lamèque.
