Danny Driver, born in 1977, is a British classical pianist from London. Driver studied at the Royal College of Music. In 2001, Driver won both the Royal Over-Seas League Competition Keyboard Award and the BBC Radio 2 Young Musician of the Year Competition. Driver performed with orchestras such as the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Minnesota Orchestra. His work with Hyperion Records featured compositions by Robert Schumann, C. P. E. Bach, George Frideric Handel, and neglected British composers such as Benjamin Dale and York Bowen. Notable recordings included York Bowen's Complete Piano Sonatas (2010) and Handel's Eight Great Suites (2014). In 2016, Driver was appointed Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music, London.
