Diggy-MO', born on March 23, 1978, in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, is a Japanese rapper and music producer. He began his musical journey by learning to play the piano and was influenced by classical music before discovering rap music during his middle school years. Inspired by groups like The Roots, Diggy-MO' started writing songs in English. In 1999, he co-founded the hip-hop trio Soul’d Out with Shinnosuke and Bro.Hi. The group gained prominence in Tokyo and contributed music to various anime series such as Yakitate!! Japan and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Diggy-MO' released his debut solo single "Bakusō Yumeuta" in November 2008, which was featured in the anime series Soul Eater. His first album, Diggyism, followed in March 2009. Throughout his career, he has released several albums, including Diggyism II (July 2010), The First Night (May 2015), and DX - 10th Anniversary All This Time 2008-2018- (November 2018). Notable collaborations include writing songs for the anime series Bleach. Since 2023, Diggy-MO' has been involved as a songwriter for the fictional symphonic metal band Ave Mujica within the BanG-Dream! media franchise.
