Gilda Giuliani, born on June 19, 1954, in Termoli, Campobasso, Italy, is an Italian singer. In 1972, she won Due voci per Sanremo, which secured her spot at the 23rd Sanremo Music Festival. Her breakthrough came with the hit song "Serena", which launched her career and garnered critical acclaim in 1973. Later that year, Giuliani competed at the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo, winning both the Grand Prix and the Most Outstanding Performance Award with the song "Parigi a Volte Cosa Fa". She released several albums throughout the 1970s, including Gilda Giuliani (1973), Oggi Un Anno (1974), and Donna (1976). From the mid-1970s, she focused on international appearances. In the 1990s, Giuliani became a regular in RAI musical programs hosted by Paolo Limiti. Her later albums include Serena (1996) and DominĂ² (2002).
