KC Concepcion is a Filipino actress and singer born Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion on April 7, 1985, in Manila. The daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, she graduated from the American University of Paris in 2007 before launching her entertainment career. She released her debut studio album, a.k.a. Cassandra, in July 2008, which featured the hit single “Imposible”. That same year, she starred in her first feature film, For the First Time, for which she received several awards, including New Movie Actress of the Year. In 2009, Concepcion starred in the film When I Met U and the television series Lovers in Paris. She released her second studio album, KC, in March 2010 under Sony Music. Beyond her acting and music career, Concepcion is recognized for her humanitarian efforts as a National Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations' World Food Programme.
