Straight Faced was an American rock band formed in Huntington Beach, California, United States, in 1992. The group originated from a hardcore band named Above All, which included founding members Eric Glenn Stewart, Ron Moeller, Matthew Polentz, and Samuel Marrs. After a lineup change that saw the addition of Johnny Miller on vocals and Kevin Grossman on guitar, the band was renamed Straight Faced. They released their first 7', "Self Will Run Riot", in 1993 through Fearless Records. The group's debut full-length album, Guilty, followed that same year, initially released on Lethal Records before being reissued by Fearless Records. In 1996, Straight Faced embarked on their first European tour with Ignite and released the album Broken. After signing with Epitaph Records in 1997, they released Conditioned (1998) and Pulling Teeth (2000). The band disbanded in 2001.
