Pentagram Chile, a thrash metal band initially consisting of Anton Reisenegger and Juan Pablo Uribe, formed in 1985 in Chile as Pentagram. The group's first live performance occurred on December 28, 1985, with Eduardo Topelberg on drums. Their initial recordings included Demo 1 in January 1987 and Demo 2 in September of the same year. These demos featured notable tracks such as "Fatal Prediction" and "Demoniac Possession", which gained significant attention within the metal community. The band's influence extended internationally, with their music being covered by bands like Napalm Death and Dismember. After disbanding in 1988, Pentagram Chile reunited in 2000, releasing the compilation album Pentagram (2000) and the live album Reborn 2001 (2001). The band reformed in 2009 and notably performed at the Wacken Open Air in the same year. In 2013, Pentagram Chile released The Malefice, followed by Eternal Life of Madness in 2024.
