Dolls of Pain is a French dark electro band that formed in 2003. The ensemble was founded by songwriter Olivier and keyboardist Cédric, with vocalist Laurent and guitarist Stéphane joining several months later. In 2005, they released their first album on the Swiss label Urgence Disk Records. They toured throughout Europe, performing in countries such as France, Germany, England, and the Netherlands. Their discography includes the albums Emprise (2003), Dominer (2004), Dec[a]dance (2006), Slavehunter (2007), Cybersex (2009), and the EP Strange Kiss (2010). They appeared at several major festivals, including the Gothic Family Festival and the Wave Gotik Treffen in 2009. Dolls of Pain announced their dissolution in 2017 on their website and social media, releasing two remixes by Heartlay and Dark Line Spectrum as a final farewell.
