Fer Ariza, a Colombian urban Christian artist from Medellín, began his musical journey at the age of 17, initially exploring reggaetón. With a background in guitar and drums, his early exposure to music helped him develop discipline and a deep passion for the craft, supported by his parents. Before focusing on reggaetón, he was part of various school music groups, experimenting with genres like pop, rock, reggae, and punk. After moving to Bogotá, he launched his professional career with the single "Lucharé Por Ti", a collaboration with Pipe Calderón that landed him on Colombia's top charts, capturing the hearts of many fans. Over the years, Fer Ariza became a well-established singer, composer, and musician known for his clean lyrics and meaningful content inspired by personal experiences. He has been recognized at the Monitor Music Awards for his song "Chao Chao", and his 2024 album, Un Tesoro Llamado Corazón, received a nomination for the Latin Grammy Awards. One of the album's singles, "Dos Personalidades," premiered at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá during the prestigious Latino Show Awards. Later in 2024 he issued singles including "SORNEROS," "Mi Escape," and "FERRARI 5 STARS VOL 1," pointing toward a stronger merengue urbano direction than the romantic pop line that had defined much of his earlier catalog. In 2025, that move became the center of his next chapter. He released a steady run of singles including "ENAMORA2," "SIMPLEMENTE BELLA," and "Niña Bonita 2," then teamed with Nacho for "Love Pa Ti No Hay," a collaboration that gave him one of his clearest international tropical hits of the period and carried onto Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart. The same year also brought the Bailaito EP, followed by "El Discman" with Proyecto Uno, a cross-generational merengue link-up, and "Merengueando en Manrique," which further underlined his commitment to updating Caribbean dance music from a Colombian angle.
