Venezuelan singer and actor, Jesús Alberto MIRANDA Pérez, also known as CHYNO, was born
on November 15th, 1984, in Caracas, Venezuela.
CHYNO MIRANDA is one of the biggest urban tropical music stars of the new generation in
Venezuela, Latin America and the United States.
He started his career as a member of the groups Scala 1 and Censura C. He participated in the
reality show of Venevisión Generación S and was a member of Calle Ciega, before being part of
the Chino and Nacho duo with which he positioned himself as one of the greatest Venezuelan
musical idols and symbol of Latin music in the world.
During his career as a member of Chino and Nacho he created world hits like Niña Bonita, Tu
Angelito, Lo Que No Sabes Tú, El Poeta, Regálame Un Muack, Bebé Bonita, Me Voy
Enamorando ft. Farruko and the hit Andas En Mi Cabeza ft. Daddy Yankee, which to date
has obtained more than one billion video views. He also has a fan base of more than 20 million
followers on social networks.
During his 10 years with Chino and Nacho he has won prestigious awards such as the Latin
Grammy in 2010 in the Best Urban Music Album category; Gold and Silver Torch at the Viña
del Mar Festival; four Billboard Awards, five Premios Lo Nuestros, two Tu Mundo Awards,
Youth Award, Heat Award and BMI Latin Awards, as well as having performed at many of these
award shows.
CHYNO MIRANDA has sung on major venues around the world including Madison Square
Garden, Times Square, Staples Center, American Airlines Arena, The Fillmore and House of
Blues in the United States; Quinta Vergara in Chile, Troxy in London and Palacio Vista Alegre
in Madrid, among many others. His last tour, Radio Universo Tour, as part of Chino and Nacho,
had more than 80 concerts, all fully sold out, in Latin America, the United States and Europe.
CHYNO MIRANDA has also proved to be an integral and multifaceted artist and in his role as
actor. He starred in the film El Malquerido, where he played the legendary bolero singer Felipe
Pirela and where he also performed the songs of the soundtrack, for which he was nominated for
a Latin Grammy.
Quédate conmigo ft. Wisin and Gente de Zona, CHYNO MIRANDA's first single as a soloist,
quickly became a success after its release on June 16 th , 2017. He first sung it live at Premios
Juventud in 2017 and has reached number one in Venezuela for more than 17 consecutive weeks,
number one in Ecuador, Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Chile,
Argentina and Bolivia; number five in iTunes sales top songs; number 13 on Billboard USA
Latin Airplay; Number two on video chart in the United States.
2017 for CHYNO MIRANDA was a transcendental year. Besides starting his solo career, he
surprisingly proposed to his wife Natasha Araos. The spectacular proposal was made in
Canaima, Venezuela, at the top of Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world, during the
alleged recording of the song Tú me elevas.
This same year he released his second single Hasta El Ombligo with Zion & Lennox, an urban
theme produced by Oscar Hernández (Oscarcito); He also presented Bailar Contigo from
3BallMTY ft. CHYNO MIRANDA & Jova, which was officially launched on Youtube VEVO
on September 26 th as well as the collaboration on Vamo’a la calle remix of Venezuelan Carlos
Baute in October.
To close with a flourishing 2017, CHYNO MIRANDA bid farewell to more than one million
people in New York's Times Square, becoming the first Venezuelan to sing on this mythical
stage.
Recently, beginning in 2018, he participated in the new single from the Venezuelan urban duo
EstoeSPosdata titled Tu Boquita and very especially released the single Como En Las Vegas with
the woman of fire Olga Tañón, a song that he played to close the historic gala of Latin music in
the 30th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro.
Since his debut as a soloist, CHYNO MIRANDA has shown his great versatility in the
entertainment world as guest presenter of the Premios Juventud 2017 where he gave a historical
presentation on TV with Wisin and Gente de Zona; He was the second Latin ambassador in the
history of New York Fashion Week and the first cover of the Billboard Venezuela Magazine.
Also, from his beginnings as an artist, he has stood out for his sensitivity to social causes for
Venezuela and other countries in need. While living in his native country, he was constantly
involved in community activities and took not only his music but also his contribution to less
favored communities. CHYNO MIRANDA has collaborated with organizations such as I Love
Venezuela Foundation, a foundation that collects and delivers supplies, food and medicine to the
neediest in their country. He is an active member of the USA Telethon and is one of the 4 artists
who sing its anthem; He has participated in the Peru Telethon and the Chile Telethon, where he
announced the completion of the Venezuela Telethon during this 2018. He has made visits to
different children's hospitals both in Venezuela and in other parts of the world to bring them
gifts, music and joy.
