Jukka Jorma Tolonen, born on April 16, 1952, in Helsinski, is a guitarist and composer. He began playing piano at a young age and received his first guitar at 11. In 1969, he founded Tasavallan Presidentti with drummer Vesa Aaltonen. With the band, Tolonen toured and recorded several albums from 1969 to 1974, including Lambertland (1972) which reached number 7 on the Finnish charts and Milky Way Moses (1974), peaking at number 12. His first solo album, Tolonen! (1971), won the Finnish Broadcasting Company's Album of the Year award. Despite his early successes, Tolonen faced personal struggles including divorce, homelessness, and drug addiction. He released Juudan Leijona in 2011, followed by Herran Kansa in 2013.
