Aptly named for their collision of sounds that seamlessly blend elements of dark electronic, industrial, trip hop, grinding guitars, darkwave, and distorted dreampop. While having a sound that is difficult to pin down to just one genre might be detrimental to some artists, it is COLLIDE’s greatest strength. Both intimate and intense, Statik’s meticulous soundscapes give kaRIN’s hypnotic, soulful vocals room to fully explore the space around her.
