Diogal Sakho, known as Diogal, is a Senegalese musician and singer. Born in Ngor, a small Lebou fishing village, he learned to play the guitar and composed his own songs. In 1996, Loy Ehrlich helped him record his first two cassettes, Xarrit Taffa and Mbaryi. Since 1998, Diogal has been based in France, where he has collaborated with musicians such as Lokua Kanza, Louis Winsberg, and Didier Malherbe. He released his first album, Samba Alla (2002), which was well received by the press and supported by FIP radio, followed by Liir (2003), and Urban Spirit (2010).
