Nodes of Ranvier was an American metalcore band from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Formed in September 2000, the group initially featured Nick Thomas and Brian Anderson among its 18 members over time. The band released their debut album Lost Senses, More Innocence in 2002, followed by their self-titled album in 2003 through Facedown Records. In February 2007, Nodes of Ranvier signed with Victory Records. However, their final album, Defined By Struggle, released in 2007, marked a period of internal strife within the band and label disputes. The group disbanded in December 2007 after performing its last show. In January 2017, Facedown Records announced that Nodes of Ranvier would reunite for Facedown Fest 2017 with new members Scott McGuire and Sheldon Swan.
