Anette Maiburg, born in 1963 in Germany, is a flutist known for her contributions to classical music. She began her career after training at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf and performed with orchestras such as the Philharmonisches Orchester Hagen, Bamberger Symphoniker, and Beethoven Orchester Bonn. Maiburg's collaboration with Trio Voyage sparked her interest in improvisation, leading to projects like Classica Cubana and Classica Española, which blended classical music with Cuban folklore. Her duo performances with Joaquín Clerch evolved into the ensemble "Classica Cubana," featuring Pancho Amat. Maiburg also collaborated with Emmanuel Ceysson in Classica Francese and performed at festivals like the Rheingau Festival and Moselfestspiele. In 2008, she launched the CD series "Classica" with Musikproduktion Dabringhaus & Grimm, exploring classical music from various national traditions. Notable releases include Classica Cubana (2009), which won the Echo Klassik award in the category "Klassik ohne Grenzen."
