Daze is a Danish Eurodance group formed in 1997 by Trine Bix, Jesper Tønnov, and Lucas Sieber. The trio emerged from the earlier project Systematixx and adopted the name Daze, inspired by producer Karlin, while Steen Bay Hansen did not join the new lineup. Their debut single "Superhero" achieved chart success, selling 31,000 copies on its release and earning a nomination for Danish hit of the year by G.A.F.F.A. magazine; it also gained popularity in Argentina. In 1997, the group released the album Super Heroes, which was later distributed internationally by Columbia and Epic Records and reached double platinum status. The album’s success led to a Danish Grammy Award for Best Dance Album in February 1998. Subsequent releases included the album They Came to Rule in 1999 and singles such as "Toy Boy" and "Tamagotchi". Daze continued to produce music into the 2010s, with the 2012 single "Fool Me" and a 2013 entry in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, maintaining a presence in the Eurodance scene.
