Marie-Claude Jourdain, known professionally as Lova Moor, was born on March 5, 1946, in La Grève-sur-Mignon, Charente-Maritime, France. She is recognized primarily as a singer but also worked as an entertainer and television host. In the late 1960s, while dancing in a discotheque, Lova Moor was discovered by a choreographer from the Crazy Horse Saloon, leading to her debut as a dancer at the venue under the stage name Lova Moor. She appeared in various films during this period, including Crazy Horse de Paris directed by Alain Bernardin. Lova Moor's foray into music began in 1986 with the single "Tendresse...SOS". In 1988, she collaborated with Jacques Morali, a producer known for his work with Village People and Eartha Kitt, on the single "Et je danse", which peaked at number 9 on the French charts. Throughout the 1990s, Lova Moor continued to release singles such as "Jealous" and "Fantasy", collaborating with notable artists like François Valéry and Didier Barbelivien. She also ventured into television hosting, becoming an animatrice de charme for shows on France 2. In 2013 she appeared in the documentary Signé Mireille Dumas, which aired on France 3.
