Morgion was a death doom and gothic metal band formed in 1990 by Dwayne Boardman, Mike Davis, Jeremy Peto, and Rhett Davis. The group released the single "Travesty" (1993) before signing with Relapse Records to release their debut album, Among Majestic Ruin (1997). Their discography includes the album Solinari (1999) and the EP Oceans Without Shores (1999). After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2002 with bassist Justin Christian and released the album Cloaked by Ages, Crowned in Earth (2004). Following several dissolutions and reunions, Morgion disbanded in 2013. Their recordings include the compilation God of Death & Disease (2012).
