Masters of Harmony, a men's chorus based in Greater Los Angeles, California, was founded in 1985 by barbershop singers from the Pasadena Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Their breakthrough came in July 1990 when they won their first international chorus championship. The group has released several albums, including Showtime (1990), Masterpiece (1994), California Gold Rush (2008), Portrait (2009), and The Dream is Carried On (2012). Masters of Harmony has won nine gold medals in international barbershop chorus competitions, with notable victories in 1990, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2017.
