Jason Forrest, born on April 5, 1972, in Fort Mill, South Carolina, is an American electronic music producer known for noisy experimental electronica and breakcore. He began his career under the name Donna Summer, releasing early works such as Rock Non Rock and Belligerent Super Vision. In 2004, he released his album, The Unrelenting Songs of the 1979 Post Disco Crash. Forrest's music often incorporated elements of mash-up and rock and roll, constructed from digital samples. His videos for "Steppin Off" (2005) and "War Photographer" (2006) won multiple awards and were widely acclaimed. He released several albums, including Lady Fantasy Ep (2005) and The Everything (2011). Forrest also founded the record labels Cock Rock Disco in 2000 and Nightshifters in 2008, releasing music from various artists. He hosted Advanced D&D with Donna Summer on WFMU radio and co-founded Network Awesome, an online TV broadcasting outlet.
