Jonathan Crow, born on October 19, 1977, in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, is a violinist. He began his musical journey as concertmaster of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal from 2002 to 2006 before taking up the same role with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) in 2011. Crow's career includes notable recordings such as solo works by J.S. Bach and Béla Bartók, and his performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sheherazade with the TSO received critical acclaim. He has performed extensively with the TSO, including Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in 2014 and Brahms’ Violin Concerto in January 2023. Crow is also an educator, serving as Associate Professor of Violin at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music.
