Nate Allen Sallie, born on October 28, 1976 in Kettering, Ohio, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He began his career performing in college coffee houses as Nate Sallie and the Melt Like Sugar Orchestra. Before signing with Curb Records, he was offered three record deals. His debut album Inside Out was released on June 10, 2003, featuring hits like "Whatever It Takes" and "All About You". The latter appeared on the compilation Absolute Smash Hits 2004. Sallie's second studio project, Ruined for Ordinary, followed on March 20, 2007. From 2007 to 2009, Sallie was the lead vocalist of the Christian contemporary group, NewSong.
