Bubblies, a French indie rock band from Toulouse, was formed in 1991 by Jean Louis Puyo. The group's early breakthrough came with their first concert in a local punk bar three years later. Bubblies' debut EP, Electriclegoland, and subsequent album Orange, both produced by Lucas Trouble, were released in 1995 and 1997, respectively. Their third album, Smurf in USA, was released in 1999 and received critical acclaim. Bubblies also collaborated on the "Peace & Lobe" project for auditory risk prevention, which won the Décibel d’Or award in 2000. The group's innovative approach continued with the release of Bubblegum Explosion on a USB key in 2006, featuring the single "La Mouche". The band's album, Audiogame Vol. 1, was released in 2013.
