Sweet Apple Pie, a French alternative rock band from Toulouse, formed in 1995. Initially inspired by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and late-1970s Buzzcocks, Sweet Apple Pie released their debut EP First Slice in 1998, which led to modest popularity across cities like Paris, Nice, and Lyon. Following this release, they toured with American acts such as the Posies, Cotton Mather, and Steamkings. In 2002, Sweet Apple Pie released their first full-length album Everybody Wants To Be A Supertiger under Spirit of Jungle Records, which was distributed internationally. They followed up with another EP, She Shines, and a split single with Cotton Mather that same year. Their second studio album, Between The Lines, came out in 2004. After this release, the band's activity ceased.
