María Dolores Parrado Ávila, known professionally as María Parrado, was born on April 28, 2001, in Cádiz, Spain. She is a singer specializing in pop music. At eight years old, Parrado participated in television shows Cántame una canción and Menuda noche, showcasing her vocal abilities. In 2014, at twelve years old, María Parrado won the first edition of La Voz Kids España, forming part of Malú's team. Her victory led to the release of her self-titled debut album, which reached number 2 on Spain’s album charts and stayed there for 46 consecutive weeks. The album featured covers of Pablo Alborán's songs and an original track titled "El significado del amor". In 2015, she released her second album, Abril, which peaked at number 6 on the Spanish charts.
