Justincase was an American alternative pop band from Charlotte, North Carolina, formed in 1998. The ensemble consists of siblings Justin Tosco (lead vocals/guitar), Nick Tosco (drums), and Hannah Tosco (bass). The siblings were raised in a musical family; their father, John Tosco, was a guitar teacher in the local music scene. In 2001, the group signed with Maverick Records after meeting singer Michelle Branch. The band released their debut studio album, Justincase, on October 29, 2002. The recording featured the single “Don't Cry for Us”, which was co-written by Branch, and the track “Without You”, which included her guest vocals. The group performed on a tour sponsored by Wal-Mart and appeared on the television program Total Request Live. Following the release of the album, Maverick Records ended the band's contract in 2003. Justincase then became inactive.
