Alexey Arkadjewitsch Nasedkin, born December 20, 1942, in Moscow, USSR, was a Russian pianist and composer. He studied at the Central Music School for Children at the Moscow Conservatory under Anna Artobolewskaja, debuting at age nine. In 1958, he performed at the World Exhibition in Brussels. Nasedkin graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1966 and taught there until his death. His repertoire included works by Alban Berg, Igor Stravinsky, and Paul Hindemith. He collaborated with Viktor Pikaisen and Natalya Gutman. Awards include the Gold Medal at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Vienna in 1959 and the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" in 2008. Nasedkin passed away on December 4, 2014, in Moscow.
