Dominique Répécaud

Dominique Répécaud (1955–2016) was a French fusion and improvised music guitarist and producer from Lons-le-Saunier. He began his musical career in the free-rock ensembles Soixante Étages and Étage 34. As the artistic director of the Centre Culturel André Malraux, Répécaud directed the avant-garde festival Musique Action in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy. His discography includes the solo album Ana Ban (2000) and the 2006 collaboration Rekmazladzep with Daunik Lazro and Camel Zekri. Répécaud performed with the trio Le Complexe de la Viande and the quartet Misère et Cordes. He contributed to albums by Pascal Comelade, Dominique Regef, and Dominique Grimaud, and managed the independent record label 33revpermi. Répécaud died in Nancy following a heart attack on November 19, 2016.
