Elio Martusciello, born on November 23, 1959, in Naples, Italy, is an electroacoustic musician and composer. He began his career as an improvisational musician, collaborating with artists like Eugene Chadbourne and Evan Parker. His early works include the singles "Cavità disertate" (2002) and "Qwert" (2003). Martusciello's debut album Aesthetics of the Machine was released in 2003. He was a member of groups like Ossatura and Taxonomy, and worked with ensembles such as the Bindou Ensemble. His compositions earned him multiple awards, including the Grands Prix Internationaux de Musique Electroacoustique and the Luigi-Russolo Competition. Martusciello's notable albums include Unoccupied Areas (2005), Concrete Songs (2011), Incise (2018), and Re-Genesis (2021). He performed at festivals across Europe, South America, and Korea. Martusciello became a teacher of electronic music, electroacoustic composition, and multimedia at the Conservatory of Naples.
