Costantino Catena, born on April 6, 1969 in Salerno, Italy, is a classical pianist. He graduated from the Giuseppe Martucci State Conservatory under Luigi D'Ascoli and furthered his studies with Konstantin Bogino, Bruno Mezzena, Boris Bechterev, and Aldo Ciccolini. Catena has performed extensively at notable venues such as the Gasteig in Munich, Saint Petersburg Philharmonia, and Moscow Conservatory. Notable albums include Antonio Salieri - Piano Concertos (2017), Dedications—Schumann-Liszt / Costantino Catena plays the new Bösendorfer 280VC (2018), and Robert Schumann: Davidsbündlertänze & Humoreske / Costantino Catena—Schumann Piano Works 1 (2019). He has also collaborated with various artists and ensembles, including the Savinio Quartet, Giovanni Punzi, Alessandro Carbonare, and Adorno Quartet, among many others.
