Aoi Tada, born on July 3, 1981, is a Japanese singer-songwriter and voice actress who began her career as a child actor affiliated with Himawari Theatre Group. She notably played Annie in the 1991 stage production of "Annie," shared with Mikih Suzuki. Transitioning to music, she joined the group P505i with Hideki Takahashi in 2003 and later moved to moon-bunny Entertainment in 2005 to focus on her solo music career. Tada self-identifies as an "encouragement singer-songwriter" and has released three original albums to date. Additionally, under the alias Veil ∞ Aoi, she is part of the vocal group Veil, specializing in themes for TV anime and PC games, often performing ending themes, which has earned her the nickname "Queen of Endings." She is particularly noted for her contributions to anime and games related to the Key game brand. One of her notable international contributions is to Christopher Tin’s album Calling All Dawns, which won the Grammy for Best Classical Crossover Album in 2011. Tada, along with Lia and Kaori Omura, performed on the track "Mado Kara Mieru" included in this award-winning album. She released ses her single "Word of Dawn" in 2016.
