A rapper from Nanterre in the Hauts-de-Seine region of France who comes from an Ivorian family, Gaulois was first a member of the group Bongeo from 2014 and 2018, allowing him to infuse musical influences ranging from Ivorian zouglou to French rap and blues, before taking a break to travel and then starting his solo career. He made a name for himself with tracks such as "Priez pour nous" with Yaro, "G Love" and "Éprouvé", then thanks to his mentor Ninho, who showcased him as an opening act on his Jefe Tour and helped him develop his career with artistic advice. In 2023, he released his first mixtape, entitled La Gaule, Vol.1, featuring 14 tracks including collaborations with Franglish, Alonzo and Leto. This first work reached number 11 in the French charts. Ninho accompanies him on three of his biggest hits, as a duet on "Jolie" (No. 1 in 2023) and "Sens interdit" (No. 1 in 2024), then as a trio on "Vida" with Morad. The latter, ranked no. 145, appears alongside "Parano" with Maes (no. 102), on the album The G World, Vol. 1 (2025), ranked no. 152 on the French SNEP chart.
