Originally from Bussy-Saint-Georges, in the Seine-et-Marne region, Smily, whose real first name is Ludovic, flourished in rap as a teenager before turning professional at the age of 18. In 2019, a shiver of success accompanied the release of "Oublié". The track convinced the PlayTwo label to sign him. He then unveils another facet of his rap with the languorous and melancholy "Parkinson" . In 2022, he released HPLANDIA, featuring the tracks "GTA", "Dès le matin" and "Baila ". The following year, he promoted his new single, "On y va" , with its punchy flow and Afropop influences.
