Real name Mathieu Grondin, T Matt (or T-Matt) is a singer and rapper born in Saint-André, on Reunion Island, on April 14, 1987. He made a name for himself in the 2010s as a singer/rapper in the groups New Generation and 3T, before launching a solo career in 2015 with the song "RAF". Rap pop, dancehall, reggaeton, zouk or raggamuffin, T Matt deploys his full palette over the many singles and collaborations that follow, with a personal touch of local maloya. Titles such as "Ce soir", "Reste encore", "Tigaling", "Bonbon" and "La Kaz" have racked up millions of views on his video channel and music platforms. After performing at the Teat Plein Air festival in 2022, T Matt signed the tracks "27 septembre", "Jugement" and "Elle veulent twerker!" in 2024, followed by "Petif filou" and "La Bague " in 2025.
