Concerto Vocale was a Belgian baroque music ensemble founded in Amsterdam in 1977 by René Jacobs. The group focused on performing and recording works from the Baroque era. Throughout their career, Concerto Vocale collaborated with musicians such as William Christie, Konrad Junghänel, and Jaap ter Linden. Their discography spanned multiple decades, featuring albums like Lamento d'Arianna (1984), Auferstehungshistorie (1990), and Stabat Mater (2000). The ensemble's repertoire included works by composers such as Claudio Monteverdi, Heinrich Schütz, and Dietrich Buxtehude. Notable early releases included Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Leçons de ténèbres (1977).
