Dina Straat, born July 10, 1945, in Zittau, Germany, is a German singer known for her versatility, spanning Schlager and pop. After graduating as a nurse in 1966, she began performing with the Klaus Lenz Sextett and Manfred Ludwig Sextett before joining the Dresden-Sextett in 1969, which later became the band Lift. With Lift, she gained recognition for songs such as "Bin verliebt" and "Da war schon Liebe dabei," composed by Gerhard Zachar. She left Lift in 1973 and subsequently performed with the Gustav Brom Orchestra, touring with artists including Jiří Korn and Karel Gott. From 1982 to 1984, Straat was a member of the band Kleeblatt, known for the hit Drachenfliegen. In 1990, she launched her first solo program with the Manfred Nytsch Band. Her single "Eine Frau, die Liebefühl" was released in 1991.
