Marco Mezquida (born 11 March 1987, in Mahón) is a Spanish jazz pianist and composer. After studying at the Escola Municipal de Maó and graduating from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in 2009, Mezquida established a prolific recording career including more than fifty albums. He gained recognition for combining jazz with classical, flamenco, and pop influences. His principal projects included MAP with Ernesto Aurignac and Ramón Prats, and the trio Ravel’s Dreams. The discography featured the albums La hora fértil (2013), Talismán (2020), and Letter to Milos (2022). He also composed music for theatrical productions including El curioso incidente del perro a medianoche. Between 2011 and 2013, he was named Musician of the Year by the Association of Jazz and Modern Musicians of Catalonia. His honors included the Premi Ciutat de Barcelona (2020) and the BMW Jazz Award (2022). Mezquida later released the album Tornado (2023) and collaborated on Del alma (2024).
