Brenan Espartinez, born on February 18, 1986, in the Philippines, is a singer and former child actor. He started his music career singing the theme song for Bayani on ABS-CBN in the early 1990s. At 15, Espartinez joined the pop group Kaya under BMG Records (now Sony Music), which included Shemara Fe Flatts, Ernestina Jacinto, and Lougee Basabas. Kaya won JAM: Himig Handog Sa Makabagong Kabataan 2001's Song of the Year for "Tara Tena" with Kyla. In 2004, Espartinez participated in Pinoy Pop Superstar. He released his album Unrestricted in March 2013, featuring the title track "Unrestricted". His self-titled album Brenan, includes tracks like "Di Nagpaalam" and a cover of Side A’s "Forevermore."
