Gérard Zuchetto, born in 1951 in Carcassonne, France, is a musician and singer specializing in medieval music, particularly the lyricism of Occitan troubadours from the 12th and 13th centuries. He began his career with recordings in 1985, interpreting troubadour songs based on medieval manuscripts. Zuchetto's work includes original compositions for cansos without surviving melodies. With Troubadours Art Ensemble, which he directs, he performed extensively across Europe and North America. His discography spans multiple albums, including Gérard Zuchetto Sings the Troubadours (1988) and collaborations with artists like Sandra Hurtado-Ros. Zuchetto also founded the Center for Research and Expression of Medieval Music - CREMM-Trobar Na Loba, Trob'Art Productions, and the label Tròba Vox.
