AKLO, a Japanese-Mexican hip-hop artist, has carved a unique niche in the music scene. Born in Tokyo and raised in Mexico City, AKLO brings a blend of cultural influences to his music, reflecting his diverse heritage. He started his music career under the unit name "AKLO to Sora" with guitarist Teppei Sora, releasing their album AKLO to Sora in 2008. His solo career kicked off with his debut album The Package in 2012, which achieved significant success, topping the overall chart and earning him the title of "Best New Artist" by for that year.
