Laboratorija Zvuka, formed in 1977 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, was a rock band known for their eccentric style and provocative lyrics. The group was founded by brothers Predrag "Peđa" Vranešević and Mladen "Bata" Vranešević, who had previously composed music for theatre, film, radio, and television. Laboratorija Zvuka gained initial attention with their early 7-inch singles and released their debut concept album Telo in 1980, marking their entry into the Yugoslav new wave scene. The band's subsequent releases included Duboko u tebi (1982) and Nevinost (1986), both showcasing their diverse musical styles while maintaining their distinctive lyrical approach. In the late 1980s, the group retired from the music scene as the Vranešević brothers focused on composing for film, theatre, and television shows. They returned in the mid-1990s to release Nema niđe te ljepote (1996), their final album before disbanding in 1996.
